New Website Critique

I recently got my domain name registered and now have a website to show for it. I am still building it, but have at least got the homepage up with some basic text as a place holder. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I'm looking for all sorts of opinions good and bad.

I would say maybe change the color of the light brown text that you have. It is kinda hard on the eyes and difficult to see at times with the light gray background you have. That is just my advice. Other then that it looks realy nice and cant wait to see it finished.

Good Luck

Overall, I really like it. But the opening page is not quite doing it for me. What is the "inner driver", and what does it have to do with detailing? Detailing is not mentioned until the 3rd paragraph. You also dog every kind of car wash there is, including hand washing. People here know that some types of hand washing can scratch a car, but your customer probably doesn't and may get the impression that you have a "magic" type of washing. I would leave that part out. Just my opinion. I think when you get it all done, it will be very nice, and overall just minor changes. Good luck!

Initial impression of the opening page is great. Great colors, great lines, great images, great font. The colors and font look very professional. I agree with the above posts. "Auto" of Auto Spa in white is kind of tough to see with the background. I do like the light brown text links, but if someone has difficulty seeing them that should be addressed.

As for the every kind of washing that TDMAN mentioned. I didn't get that impression of bashing. I think its a good way to educate your clients. It lets them know several things. One, the small 2 gallon bucket wash method they use without refilling does damage their vehicles paint. Two, even touchless car washes can still do some type of damage. And three, you at "TM Auto Spa" recognizes that those methods are harmful and that you use studied and proven techniques. That's why they should pay you for it.

I'd loose the last statement of the third paragraph. What if I wash my own car in less time than you detail the car? Most people ask how long to detail a car. I say 3-4 hours. Their response is what takes you so long "I can wash it in 30 minutes". That's when I go through all the steps in my procedure to detail a car, then they understand the difference. My point is most people might take offense to you saying you can do the same thing as they can, just quicker even though you are. They aren't paying for quicker they're paying for the "convenience detailing" you stated so well in the 4th paragraph.

Sorry for the long post. I'm just a newb anyway. Take it for what it's worth. Good job! :)

Thanks guys for taking a look at the website. I never noticed the color issue until now. I appreciated everyone's comments and will try to make the appropriate changes. I'll let you know when the site has been updated with new content and in its final version.

Nice site my only problem is your font spacing on the Home Page, Services page, & Products page. The text is piled on top of each other ,. I think its to large . The text on the other pages look fine. Leave out the information about other types of washing .

All right guys I think i've got the text issues worked out. Check it now if your feel like it.

Nope still on top of each other. Maybe its because you have it in BOLD type.
The fonts look smaller and the code on the Services page is still there. Maybe you forgot to close something . This is the only part that looks right on the page.
