New Web site Up Need Opinions.

So you are on a detailing website attempting to sell the merits of:
Waxing will no be longer necessary. Our ultimate paint protection system is a tough layer of protection that won’t wash away like a typical wax.

and you are wanting feedback on what we think? :bat

I do both. People who can afford the premium service are happy with my pricing. It's not cheap and it's not for everybody.. If a customer can't afford the premium service they can get an evaluation plus additional services.

Your kinda lying is the problem, sounds like a dealership scam

My installs are backed by an actual 5 year guarantee and yes my products are that good. It kills the income from repeat customers though. Oh well! :chuckle:

Do you believe everything on this site written by the 'experts'?? I don't. Many good detailing products have been decontinued and destroyed because of the 'expert' opinions that were posted on this site. I found products that work exactly as stated yet they were trashed on this site. Who should I believe? My experience with the product or some 'so-called expert's ' opinion of a product he has never tested.

Case in point Clay magic made a Claying pad system for the orbital called the Clay Magic Power System. The best claying system in the world to me. It saves me a huge amount of time when I clay. It was totally trashed by the so-called experts on this site and clay magic stopped making them.

Here's a quote to live by and I love it.

"A man with experience is not at the mercy of a man with an opinion."

Many bad opinions have been posted on this site. Judge the good and the bad for yourself.

I think the site is unprofessional looking, and stating that your product lasts 5 years is highly unlikely. What type of sealant are you using?

This just sounds like another one of those dealer scams to me.

The rainbow in the banner on the site isn't the best choice, and your font choice could use an update as well...

Are you kidding me!?!?!

Where did this "expert" thing come into this? What experts? what are you talking about?

There isnt a sealant or wax on this planet that will last 5 years, your lying to people.

I HIGHLY doubt automagic stopped making product/s becuase what anyone said on this site, have any proof of that?

Some company still makes a pad for clay bars, i think AG carry's it.

I still havent seen the site, where is the link?

The original poster is abiding by autopia rules not directly linking his site. Click on his screen name and view his "homepage" to see his site.

The site IMO could use a lot of work. Its very cluttered and does not have the visual appearance of most professional websites.

Theoretically a sealant may last 5 years if you apply and store the car in a "clean room" for 5 years. You are IMO exploiting a bit of truth and stretching that beyond reason. If you apply you "sealant" and acid rain ecthes the finish are you going to repaint the entire car for the customer?

Have YOU PERSONALLY tested this five year claim under strict conditions and scientific testing?? Your website seems no different than a stealership selling a $1200 sealant service.

Sorry for the brute honesty, but you wanted opinions so get ready for them lol

I would love to express my opinion but I also don't want to get banned.

You could probally interest clients that get the 5 year protection in this aswell.

Here is a recent picture of a vehicle that has never been repainted.

It was protected when it was new by the product I install.

It would easily be allowed in any RV park

Protected RV

This product has been degraded so much on this site that I don't think it would be good to say what it is, but it did beat 30 other paint protection products in 2001. Raytheon did a 12 month long test and this product beat all the others hands down. After the test it was installed on very expensive equipment that's subjected to very harsh weather.

12 months isn't five years.........;)

The paint on that RV is probably older than a huge percentage of people that post on this site. It not cheap. My unapplied products cost more than some detailers on this site get for a full detail.

Derrick

Sorry about that Chris. It is applied.

Derrick, good to know ya, I'm just down the road in Grand Prairie,

About the website, to be honest, it looks very home made and one dimensional, and the picture of the minivan on the front with the shiny tires doesn't make me think you're a high end detailer even though your pricing seems extremely high end. (first impressions are everything)

Do you have a gallery on there at all?? I didn't see one, it would help me have some confidence in your abilities knowing you had a larger customer base.

I think the prices you're offering for a basic wash are extremely high.

And I have to agree with the others about the 5 year protection.

Pictures are not evidence of protection, I can show you plenty of pics after I've claybar'd a car with no sealent on it that will out-shine and out-reflect anything else out there.

So what products are you using that are so top secret?

Fellow Metroplexian, :wavey

Hmmmm. Care to provide a link to that six-year old test?

(skeptical would be an understatement)

Sounds like ToughGuard to me . . . recently banned for spamming us, by the way.

I've been trying to find the details of their warranty, and keep running into this:
After proper installation, if TOUGHGUARD® fails to protect the surface of your vehicle as outlined on the warranty registration form, TOUGHGUARD® will repair the affected surface and re-apply the protective coating free of charge.

Problem is, I can't find the "warranty registration form" anywhere online. I'm very curious to see if it has a re-application clause as so many of these 5-year wonder sealants do.
