New Wax/Sealent

Guys, I am going to be using m105/m205 on my car within the next few weeks to hopefully bring the paint back to life. I am interested in getting a new last step product. Right now I am looking at Zaino Z2 w/ grand finale Spray, Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger or Autoglym HD wax. I will most likely be applying this in the sun. What do you guys think would be the best for a Milano red car?

Get DG111 and some aquawax (very similar to Z2/Z8) and save some money or try BFWD. Though I wouldn't apply anything in the sun if I could help it.

Blackfire would be my choice although from those picks..Zaino Z2/Z5 is the only sun friendly choice where the others recommend application in the shade / cool temps. Zaino gives very good looks to IMO

Yeah unless I shoot for a cloudy day, chances are I am going to have to apply the wax in the sun. (10-11am). I guess the good thing is the temperatures are not peaking at those hours.

Poorboys range is sun friendly, some nice waxes and sealants in there if none of yours work out. I thought the HD wax was a little reflective, Zaino and BF are similar.

I would use the Zaino if it was me!

+1

Duragloss 111 is my favorite LSP and is a dream to use. I love to apply sealants and waxes super thin and I have not found anything that goes on thin quite like DG 111. It also looks better than DG 105 (which I also use) in my opinion. Most here prefer 105 and it is the newer offering from Duragloss. Aquawax makes me smile every time I use it.

The first bottle of 111 that I bought came from a local auto parts store and had a red Porsche 911 on the label and seemed like it had been on the shelf for a long time. This place also had some ancient Mothers products and little else. I talked to Bill at Duragloss and he said it was at least 5 to 10 years old. It was still fine and I still use it. I do my full size Chevy truck with about half an ounce.

EDIT: On the bottle of 111 it says "Apply in sun or shade"

I really like Victoria Red Wax. It is made especially for darker colors, but I find it looks great on any color.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize you were looking for sun friendly products. NXT & Poorboy's are fine, and don't give me any issues when used in the sun at all.

Yeah I used NXT 2.0 on a white SUV in the sun this weekend without any problems. From what I hear it looks best on lighter cars but I may be mistaken.
