Well finally took the plunge and bought a digital camera last friday! Its a Samsung NV7 with 7.2 mp, 7x optical zoom, and optical picture stabalization. Deffinetly loving it so far! Very easy to use and adjust. I did this detail saturday morning so it was my first time using it and I have gotten a little better at it since. :up

The Passat was in overall very good condition and looks like it is very new (not sure exactly what year it is? maybe 06-07?). minor swirling except for around the door handles. I did a wax vac window on this Couple's Toureg last month and they loved it. From the look on the guys face I knew i would be seeing this Passat that they picked up the Toureg in very soon :chuckle:

Well anyway, this car was a cake walk. the only real issues with it were the door jams were coated in muck and some strange tar on all the wheels that i assume flung up onto the body as i found similar tar all over

Process:

CAR Products "Pink Cleaner" APC on wheels tires and wells

Tar removal on the wheels with CAR P. "Solv-All" Solvent & microfiber then washed with soap and old mitt

Removed the bird bomb with some diluted APC and water pressure

Washed w/ CAR P. Car Wash

Bug removal on the winsheild hood and bumper for good measure with diluted APC and bug sponge

Tar removal w/ Solv All and wet microfiber

For wax I used this new liquid wax made by CAR P. that they sent to us to sample called "Perfection" Advanced Tech Wax. Not sure how durable this wax is yet but man does it make the paint smooth! applied via PC

For the exhaust I like to use the solvent and some steel wool. Didnt come out perfect as i was pressed for time but looks much better.

More CAR Products went onto the tires and wells ("Sparkleberry") and onto the lower trim ("Pearl Gloss")

I really like how these wheels have 2 different finishes on them, painted in the center and polished on the outer rim. Very subtle :D
