New vacuum cleaner

I just picked up a new vacuum cleaner today from lowes. My old shop vac finally went out and i bought a kolbolt brand. Its a 5hp 5gallon with a 20ft crush proof hose. Does anyone have one of these and if so does it work pretty good? The only draw-back i see with it is the canister is small and i will have to clean it out often but i do mobile work and i only have a 5x8 enclosed trailer so i need all the room i can get. I'm going to try to get some pics of the trailer up soon.

Are you talking about this vac?

IF so............. I have that vac. I started with that vac almost 5 years ago. LOVE IT. Being mobile, it offers a compact design with great power and suction over some of the larger models.
As far as filling it, I empty mine, roughly every month......

I'm on my second one actually. First one went out a year ago and I picked up another. As long as they make them, I will always buy them.....
Great vac at a great price...

Home Depot has a Rigid 5 Gllon wall mount unit with 5 HP for $19 on clearance. I'm picking one up tonight to replace my loud and increasingly less effective 12 gal Craftsman one.

Does that unit have an optional "muffler"? $19 is a killer price for that unit which isn't that covered by a in-store exchange "lifetime" warranty?

I bought one of the four left at my local HD yesterday. When I stopped in today, they were all gone. I haven't mounted it yet. It does come with a diffuser/muffler for the exhaust port. It will be nice to get my old one off the floor. I should be able to get the $20 I paid for the Rigid out of my old Craftsman unit.
