New Truck 1st wax?

Hi;

NFG here. I have a 02 Dakota w/ Garnet Red Pearlcoat and

Silver stripe. What's the best first treatment for the paint job.

I have some small scratches around the bed (hey, it's a truck)

She needs a good wash, some spot compounding,a wax job,

interior fabric/carpet cleaning and fabric protectant.

Please advise GH

Congrats on the new truck!



I would clay the truck after you work out the scratches in the bumper, then follow with a 3m Swirl Remover step.



Finish with Zaino.



As much as I initially disliked Zaino, it really does shine nicely and is easier to maintain on a new car than any other shine.

dido neoprufrok, if you want protection go with a sealant, maybe even a carnuba topper, but you will now have to choose Zaino or Klasse!



Klasse might lok bettr on it, for that candy-like shine!

Lost of sealants to chose from. Klasse, Blackfire, Platinum, Liquid Glass, and Zaino.



I like Klasse on my truck. Really darkens the blue. Here is a pic with Klasse SG. I think 2 coats.

Someone also posted a pic of how Klassse SG darkened the color on half a red hood. I'll see about finding the link but you might try searching for it.
