New Tool For Vacuuming Interior Carpet and Mats

Hey everyone,



My wife bought a new bissell vacuum yesterday and it came with what they call a turbo brush attachment. You put it on the end of the hose and the suction from the vacuum powers it. I tried it on her new vac and it worked fairly well on our love seat that our german shepard sleeps on. So today I put it on the shop vac just to see if it made a difference and all I can say is it sounded like it was a high performance car turbo that I was holding while it was makeing full boost. Powered from the shop vac I think it will do a much better job on the large areas and mats in our cars. From bissell it was 24.99 if you buy it as an add on. here is a pic. hope this can be used by all.

yes it does. I have a 2 to 3inch main hose on my shop vac but I have the 1 1/8 reducer and it fit on it great. the attachment is about 3 x5 inches

Our standup vac came with one of those. I always wondered how it would work on shop vac, our standup is pretty much worthless for suction.

Like I said above I used my 1 and 1/8 reducer and it fit fine.

I knew about the metro vac but just never got one until we got this vacuum. Only time will tell on its performance.

Hmmmm I wonder if the turbo brush from the LGCM will fit my shopvac. I'll have to check later today.

I found a turbo-brush for my Shop-Vac at Walmart ... it's in the Shop-Vac brush/accesory section and it fits shop vac diameters.

My wet/dry vac is a a Sears Craftsman... my old cannister house vac is a Kenmore and had a similar turbobrush attachment.. I'll have to check it out in the morning!

This is what I use. Its motorized so you do have to have power but I dont find that a problem

I'm curious how these would react with a RIGID 5hp? And do you think it would replace the process of scrubbing to free debry?

While I understand the concept behind these, and have tried these "turbo heads" on a few different vacuums, I never end up liking or using them for very long.



I find them very awkward to use in tight places (ie in corners where dirt often hides) and find them obnoxiously noisy. For me, I find a good old upholstrey brush, with a vacuum works as good if not better.
