I was thinking 80, VM, RMG, alcohol wipe, Z2 Pro. Since RMG is supposed to have way less oil than VM I thought this would be a good process. Sound good? Give me your opinion on alternatives please!
If your doing an alcohol wipe then doing the RMG is a waste of time. VM is ment to be a glaze with very minor abrassives. After you do the alcohol wipe its ready for Z2. You can save even more time from going straight from #80 and an alcohol wipe. I usually go straight from #80 to a LSP. Using VM might give a little extra polishing shine before the LSP. Its up to you on how much time are you willing to spend, but using RMG is surely an unnecessary step.
I use Menzerna IP FP II or PB 2.5 then 1. Have not had any problems with the Menzerna products but had some streaking issues if I don't do an alchohol wipe with PB.
