Just want to introduce myself. My name is Justin and I am from Wilmington, NC. I am a 27 yr old printing professional who likes to make people smile by bringing there car, boat or motor home back to life!
I'll try to keep it short and to the point.
1. How did you wind up at Autopia?
A good friend of mine recommended this site.
2. What do you like most about detailing?
Making SS/chrome/aluminium... shine like new.
3. What are your favorite products/processes and why?
Woody Wax, Eagle One Never Dull. As stated above, I like to make things shine.
4. What's your dream car and why?
5. What's the best thing you learned on Autopia?
Still learning.
6. What are some of your other hobbies and interests?
I like playing guitar and landscaping my yard.
7. Do you have any pets? If so, types, names, pics.
Fiance (which I guess makes them mine) has 2 dogs. Bela-Amstaff and Darcy-American Bulldog. The bulldog on the right is much larger now.
8. Name three secret techniques that you think you should share to fellow Autopians.
Patience, persistence and being picky helps too.
9. Where are you from and where do you live now?
Grew up outside of Chicago for most of my life. However I was born and now live in Wilmington, NC...right by da beach.
10. What was you first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect?
First car was an '87 CRX HF.
I like black cars, so, to make them look perfect, they must ALWAYS be clean.
11. What motivates you to detail?
$ lol. Seriously though, I like to see the outcome of a job well done.
12. Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car?
If I was elderly, mayb... NO!!!
13. Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one?
My grandfather was a big car guy so I like to think I get it from him.
14. What is your favorite part about detailing?
The smell of a good wax, preferably ICE.
15. If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it?
It is a part time gig for me now. I clean more boats on the side than anything so when I get to do a nice classic car I really enjoy that.
Once again, hello and I look forward to learning more and drooling of some pics.
