New To RMG

I am not sure what the progression should be using RMG. I plan to clay bar followed with KAIO, then RMG followed by either Natty's blue or Souveran. All this on a dark gray metallic car.

Anything else I need to add? Also....when applying RMG by PC, can I do the whole car before removing, or panel by panel?

Hi,

Im not a fan of applying a oil based glaze over an AIO. It just seems like a pointless waste.

Those glazing oils are suppose to go in the pores of your paintwork, you would have sealed the paintwork with AIO. Your RMG will just fill tiny holes in the KAIO and then you will wipe the rest (that would go in to your paintwork) away with your MF.

Anyway, applying it by PC you can work it until its almost gone. There wont be much to wipe away. I do the whole car in one go, you might find you have a little, thin covering of dust but it wont be much. It doesnt dry hard and isnt difficult to remove if you have that you dident work with the PC.

If you have PC why not use a polish first like OP that will leave the surface improved and ready to obsorb those RMG oils.

Thanks! Sounds like RMG is best when applied over polished/bare paint. I don't have any OP on hand, but I do have Menzerna 106FF and FP. The car will be new...just delivered.

Scott, you should make a sticky with all your concoctions. I've seen several mentioned here. It would be nice to see it up there with the "secret decoder ring".

I love RMG topped with Souveran or NB!
