Hello everyone,

This is my first post on this forum since my brother recommended me joining. I just bought a 95 Mustang GT convertible, it's deep forest green with a saddle tan top, and saddle tan leather interior. This is my first vert, first car with leather and I need some recommendations on the best things to use to keep it looking good. Like for instance, what should I use to clean and protect my top? What's is the best thing for leather interiors as far as cleaners and brushes? Also, what type shampoos, waxes, and etc to use on my deep forest green paint? I want the paint to have some good depth and glow to it. I realize the paint is 10 years old and hasn't been taken care of well enough before me, but I want to change that. I have some autoparts store brand microfiber towels, I know I need to order some higher quality one from somewhere, but where? I have been using Stoner's glass cleaner on my 2000 mustang for years and I like it, but is there something better out there I should be using? I know i'm asking a lot of questions but I really appreciate any help you detailing guru's can offer.

Thanks,

Eric

Welcome stangman this site truly is a great place, I've already learned soo much in the past 2 months, then I could ever have by-myself. I'm kind of a newb, and all I've done for the past months is just read and soak up things like a sponge. I'll admit I don't know even a fraction of what probably 99 percent of the people on here know, but I do know that one of the most helpfull things on this site is the free e-book that they have to download. As far as invisible glass, I use it, and love it. there are a lot of people on here that do...and do some studying up on klasse AIO. Ceck that link out in the hall of fame thread, and look at that guys red truck

Whoa, lots of questions! :) Take it from another newb, read the ebook to get an understanding of certain basic concepts. From there you can research the archives for more detailed opinions/answers on product lines. That's what I did. I'm pretty proud of the fact that I found every answer I've needed in the archives. :) You will too! There is so much info there it's incredible. :)

I appreciate the input, I will take a look at the guide. Yeah my brother was trying to convince me to get a porter cable to save time, so I might look into that. Anyone know the best place to get one? Also is this site, the best/cheapest place to order stuff from Klasse? The "Raggtopp" stuff as well? I appreciate the help guys.

I'm not sure about the other items you mentioned, but the best deal I've seen on the PC is at Lowes for $100, I myself don't have one, but I can't wait to get it and a pad kit and go to work.
