i just compared the retail price of griot's machine polishes to poorboy's ssr's

 Here is something else you may consider.Does Griots offer a site like this were you may go with your detailing/setup questions and recieve top notch advice? I didn't think so.This site would not be here if not for our Sponsers Troy@Detailcity,Steve@Poorboy's World & Dwayne@Autogeek so maybe you do pay 10% more hear than elsewhere, but I gaurantee you when you run into a problem(and you will) it is very comforting to know there is a site such as this to offer not only very helpfull advice, but also tha best MORAL support you will ever find on tha Information Super Highway. Good Luck... :dcrules

welcome george. I too use griots polishes and waxes on my cars and parents mini cooper and suburban. I wanted their pc 7424 cause it had different backing plate than the ones i have seen on here.

just my $.02 on products.....

It's 95% user skills, 3% products, and 2% of the unknown. What may work on one vehicle one day may not work on the same vehicle another day; as is what works for one person one day on one car may not be what works for someone else. Each and every job is diffrent. The process however are the same. For the most part, you will find the end results are what truley matter. So, with 1000's of products out there, (many of which are private labled) my best suggestion is to find what gives you the best possible results with the least amount of resistance, that matches your skill level, of which fits your budget.

I'll add -- That I'm sure you will be more than satisfied with what's offered by Troy @ DetailCity.
