Hey there. I am new to this site and I have been following the converstions going back and forth and you all sound like you know what you are doing. I am interested in learning more about what needs to be done to take better care of my car. I too am at the point where I feel pretty embarassed driving in my car when it is dirty. I have a white 2001 Trans-Am, but I am not real familiar with what needs to be done to really take care of the car. I have not had it detailed ever (I know thats sad), the only thing I have really done is the average Car wash. Can anyone give me any starter tips. I live in a city where the weather is pretty much up in the air and since my car is white it picks up the dirt from the road real quick. I want to make it shine, and i was wondering if there was something I could do to really make it stick out. Maybe white wasnt such a good color after all.

First of all :welcome

As you can tell DC has pretty much what your looking for. I recommend you read Jngrbrdman mans website for the step by step process for you. Of course there is alot of info and personal preferences but hang out and learn a bit and don't be shy to ask questions, soon you'll have your processes. Oh yea the website www.ocdetails.com
