Hi Everyone, I've been lurking for a while and decided to join in on the Fun. You have a great site going with lots of useful info.

The Problem I have is the someone decided to use the trunk of my wife 02 Honda Accord to do a manicure I guess; and they spilled either Krazy Glue or that nail glue they use on the trunk of her car. It's not much; But it's visable and annoying to see. Can you recommend anything to remove it?

Attached is a pic of my 03 Pilot justed wax. Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance,
John

Welcome to DC

The red looks great!!

Is the glue sort of stuick to the top of the car and real hard. I just wonder of you coudl use a plstic card to encourage it do come off.
I've used lacquer thinner to remove it as well, but do this in small amounts at the wash stage on a cool car.
Apply a small amount to see if it loosens up then wash after and protect right away

Hey there, and Welcome to DC :welcome

As for your situation, I've had success with 3M's Wax and Adhesive (i.e. Superglue) Remover. Locally, I believe it's about $4-5 at Walmart.

Good luck!

I use whatever I have close...PPG Wax and Grease remover..or some other brand, laquer thinner, PVC pipe cleaner, maybe WD40 works...does on some stuff.

If it is a thick glob or splatter - and you have a hard time getting it off - try three or four paper towels folded over and then an iron - it should heat it up to melt and the paper towels should absorbe the crap and protect the finish
