New scent for ONR?

I just recieved (among other things) another gallon of ONR from danase (outstanding service by the way) and for some reason when I smell it, it is as if I were opening a gallon of windex and smelling that! All my previous gallons of ONR had almost no smell, so do you think this "windex" scent is new or is my gallon somehow defective?

Smells to me more of a Pine Sol/citrus blend. But yes, a scent is now normal.

The previous version of ONR had a very chemical scent. The new one is more appealing, at least to me it is...

Yep, my new gallon smells like pinesol / household cleaner.

I just got some ONR from Danase, and the smell reminded me of the strong detergent used for power washers. Sort of strong alkaline caustic smell. I wish it smelled like Pine Sol!



I previously used QEW, so I didn't know it was "new" and "improved."

I wonder as well! I didn't mind the old "smell" either. Reminded me of "clean."



It wasn't a bad scent, really, just more like a light smell of graphite/penciles. Nothing bad there. It's not like it smelled like body odor or something.



Oh well - I still most of a gallon to go through so I guess it will be a long time until I order more anyway :laugh:

I noticed my new bottle smelled different as well, it also seems a little thicker than the old ONR but I could be imagining that.

yup, to some mine smells like windex, but to me it smells like strong soap...palmolive almost

I noticed the same thing - I think it's an improved formula, cuz I notice the mixed solution (ONR and water) is more slicker but it could be my imagination as well.

Probably a lot of people. Lots of complaints early on about the scent. Suggest another scent perhaps?

I just sniffed my new gallon, same deal. Lemony/Pine-Sol like others have said. I haven't actually used it yet (still have some of the older stuff), so I don't know if the smell will be as potent when washing, but I sorta prefer the "clean" scent of the older one.
