Anthony, I'm assuming this is a rhetorical question for reflection and you already have formed a view

But, for all the new members, I'll bite...
It would depend on what 'better' means. My view is that water sheeting is 'better' for the paint and the protective layer as it minimises the chance of mineral spotting/etching or acid etching as the water beads evaporate and concentrate. (I'm not a big fan of the "water beads acting as magnifying lenses of the suns rays and burning the paint" theory, but that's just me).
While *I* believe the above to be true, my conditioned/brain-washed/nostalgic mind finds looking at water beading a satisfying and comforting sight. Thus, in some strange, sentimental way, water beading is 'better'. I suspect many share this aberation.

But then, I've never been too bright. :think:
