Not even 1 week old and approaching 400 miles on her (a buncha driving for me considering I work 6 miles from home hehe).

I still have to give the car a complete once over, but she's looking sharp! Hopefully weather cooperates this weekend and I can treat the car to a fresh wash and a klasse Twins coating...

I'm eager to experiment with some products in the springtime to see what makes Fiji Blue Pearl paint pop!

Btw, I traded my '04 HFP silver SI for the '06 and haven't looked back since :) An AEM CAI is in the shop waiting for a bit of time to install (next week I hope) and Eibach sportline springs are en-route.

Love it, hope they make the four door version!! I just sold my 00 SI a few weeks ago. FWIW, *I* would certainly look inot prepping that sucker to perfection, then sealing with NXT or #21. IMO, on blue, NXT/#21 are hard to beat in terms of looks.

Congrats on the car, I know of one other fiji blue running around your area--he is a member of CSI.

Congrats on the new car!

Have fun with the darker colored Honda :D.

I can't wait to see what creation you guys make :).

Looks great. I have had a black one on order since december, may not have it until april :( In some areas these are tough to get!!

i remember when the 2002+ Si's came out my dealer had over 20 of them. I asked him why he was not selling them and he said nobody wanted them up here and they were sending all of theirs to Florida dealers. Weird how that works.

Nice car by the way!

I thought about giving the 'ol NXT a whirl on the new paint...

As for the driving experience, it's a blast. Between the motor, the limited slip and the 6-speed, it's just worlds away from the previous SI and a helluva bargain. I'm sure the up-keep of the paint will be much more of a chore than my Satin Silver '04 SI was, but Fiji is such a pretty color :woot2:

Sean - you know me, I can't own a car and not fiddle with it. The dealer was so impressed with the condition of my '04, one of his techs bought it haha I did keep my bronze rota C10's you saw though...they fit the '06 as well :chuckle:

Search around and I bet you can find one...

I left a deposit 3 weeks ago with my local dealer whom I've done business with a bunch of times before. I was told anywhere from 60-90 days wait for the car to come in and depending on if anyone else with a deposit cancels.

Just for kicks, I started calling other dealers and after some low ball trade offers and price gouging on the new car, I found my car. It was due for arrival in a week, was not spoken for and was selling @ MSRP. They offered me top dollar for my trade (highest KBB value, their offer paid off my loan hehe) and we did most of the work over the phone. Last friday was delivery day and I've been driving ever since :)

So, if you don't mind some leg-work on the phone, make some calls! It's likely that someone cancelled their deposit and the car you want is available!!

meh, that car still has some growing to do on me. I don't like the look of the front end. and the tails are too sharply cut IMO. ah well, i guess what i think doesnt really matter.

As others have said, I do hope your ready to deal with dark honda paint. I most certainly wouldnt be up for it! good luck, and happy modding :D

Absolutely LOVE the color. Im thinking about picking one up for my next car and going the sc'ed route. Still up in the air but I do love the interior! Have fun with the car!

i do all my business with my dealer, he is trying to trade silver for black but no one will do it. I get it at msrp with free labor on everything and parts discounts, so it is no big deal to me, I have patience :)

the new Si has been registering on my radar screen for the last coupla months. I LOVE the new styling (more edgy than the RSX-S), & would like something a little more tidy in size (than my mustang GT) for navigating the L.A. streets. Great choice on color. My two faves are the fiji blue and the habanero red pearl. Got to get up close & personal with one at the auto show. Bang for the buck... it's a steal. They seem to be flying off the dealers lots around here. Have also read about the problems getting one with the navi unit. Guess they underestimated how many people would want the navi unit & are so short on supply that many navi-ordered Si's are getting cancelled & substituted with non-navi cars. Sweet ride tho... enjoy!

yep i had a galaxy grey/nav ordered and changed it to a black non nav for the sake of getting it sooner :(

You're better off - Galaxy Gray has way too much of a brown thing going on...
