New proud PC owner who needs help

I just received my PC 7424, and I can't wait to get started using it. I'm new to the power tools, so this question might be a dumb one. It came w/ an attachment w/ a white pad already on it. Is it a polishing pad or do i need to put something else like a bonnet over it before i use it? I've ordered the Edge 2000 pad kit, but it's not in yet. Any advice on using the PC would be greatly appreciated!

The pad your speaking of can be used for some things, but I would wait on the Edge 2000 pads to start polishing and applying products to the paint.

I am with Blue line. The pad that I recieved did not meet the paint on my vehicles. What I have used it for is on bumpers and the windows of my vehicles. I use it to put sealants on. I get a good complete coat of sealant on the windows and my wipers seldom run.

What type of sealant do you put on your windows? I bought a Turtle Wax yellow foam bonnet to experiment w/ today until my Edge pads come in. Anyone have any experience w/ these type?

What type of sealant do you put on your windows?

I have used, with good success, any sealant from Poorboy's(EX or EX-P), Mother's(TopCoat), Zaino(Z2Pro or Z5) or Klasse(SG).
