New Process

After searching it seems that a lot of people like AIO with S100 on dark cars. So before I order those, I wanted you guys to point me in the right direction if I'm not header that way.....

1) Clay

2) DACP yellow pad

3) AIO white pad

4) S100 x 2 coats by hand

Does this sound pretty good for a Black truck?

Thanks for the help

Sounds about perfect.

I detailed a BMW M5 using that basic plan but with Einszett Paint Polish instead of DACP and Souveran instead of S100. I'd say the car came out OK:

Hopefully if the weather clears up (rains every couple of days), I'll be able to get out the PC/DACP.

Are you sure you need something as aggresive as DACP?

Claying and AIO should be more than adequate prep unless you're trying to correct a paint problem.

Or, maybe you should consider starting with SFP or 1Z like bretfraz used. Start with a less aggressive product then go to a more aggresive product if necessary.

I've got some "problems" that need DACP, hunting trails do wonders to paint....

New Orleans, Huh, seems there are more and more of us on the board.

Thanks for the suggestions though
