New photos from the new camera

Thanks.

I'll use ISO 100 for the outdoor shots. Each of the photos will have different settings however. Choose your ISO (100 for example), then choose your aperature (f/5.6 for example), and then let the camera's meter tell you where you're at, and adjust your shutter speed accordingly. If you just got a DSLR, and have never used the Manual mode before (or even if you have), I highly recommend picking up the book Understanding Exposure. Revised Edition by Bryan Peterson. I had never used the M mode before...read about a dozen pages into the book, and was taking great photos in full manual mode. Once you realize how easy it is, you'll rarely use any other mode.

Cool I will have to look into getting that book.

The car looks fantastic - I love the Type S and in black it is a stunner. My wife very nearly bought one (in that SERIOUS blue) but went with a Lexus instead. I was bummed...those wheels and exhaust tips are downright sexy. :D

Great call on Understanding Exposure as well...excellent book. I picked up a DSLR a bit over a year ago, and struggled with the 'big three' for months until reading that book. Well...I'm still struggling  but it's gotten much better. I find capturing bright daylight shots to often be more challenging than anything else. Of course, there's the distinction of what you're trying to do - make art or capture an image - which often gets blurry when taking automotive pics. You've definitely done a nice job of capturing the car and letting it represent the art all by itself.

Vroom...thanks for the high marks on the photos. I agree that those mid day shots (worst time of day to shoot!), can be quite challenging. It usually requires some trial and error on where to take the reading to get a good enough balance.

Thanks...I have to agree.

After 3 months of weekly washing, I can just now barely notice a small flaw here and there. But with Honda black, I'm really happy to be about 97% defect free!

Excellent, having a Honda black, guess you got your washing technics down to a science.
