wow! I go away from the PC to actually do a little work for a while and this happens?
First let me say it has been fun testing products for Steve. I recall getting two little baby food type glass jars; one pink and the other blue. All I heard was "they are polishes...try em' and let me know what you think. Oh yea, the blue one is stronger than the pink one". They of course turned out to be SSR1 and SSR2 and later came the SSR3.
During my testing I asked Steve if he ever thought about a paste wax. "Who uses paste wax anymore?" Sound familiar Steve? LOL Well all you need to look at is the following that exceptional pastes have....P21s, Blitz, Souveran, Trade Secret, and it's clear paste waxe isn't going away anytime soon.
So I'll tell ya all what I know and what my experience has been with this wax over a couple months and maybe half a dozen different vehicles; keeping in PB tradition it is easy on and easy off. If you've used EX or P21s it is right there perhaps even easier. Sun or shade is fine. Let it sit 2 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour.... it simply comes off with almost no effort (if in direct sun on a super hot surface don't push it more than 30 minutes). It spreads effortlessly and a couple dabs of the applicator on the wax will do a pretty large area (easily half my full size pickup trucks hood). It is like P21s in this regard. I joked to Steve that the size tin he has will outlast most of the cars people own.
Looks wise, IMO, it has incredible clarity for a carnauba paste and outstanding depth of shine. On well polished and prepped black or darker colors it is just liquid (it has no cleaning ability). It does an amazing job of minimizing dust/pollen attraction...very unique for a carnauba paste.
Longevity is at least on a par with the top carnauba pastes. During a side by side panel comparo with P21s I ended up stripping both off after 6 weeks and applying PWC. Not because either of the pastes were finished but because I was doing a test with something else. Like anything though...mileage may vary depending on condition, maintenance, climate, etc. I can safely say it can at the very minimum hold its own with the top carnauba pastes on the market in terms of durability.
Try topping something a couple coats of UPP or EX with this paste wax and it'll put a smile on your face!
And no, no pics of Natty on the can. Like Steve said, that would be frightening. LOL
Got to get back to work!
