New PA Cosmic v2

Just got an email from PA about the release of Cosmic v2. Who`s going to be 1st to try it?

We are proud to announce the launch of GLASSCOAT | COMSIC V2!

Compared to the previous version of Cosmic, V2 has 5% more silica and 10% more titania. Cosmic V2 has much better beading, durability, and chemical resistance than the previous version with the same ease of application.

We are also adding an Aluminum Dibond Plate pictured below.
 
I really liked the original. . . Still have some left over. . . I guess I`ll go randomly polish some cars to use it up and grab this new one.

I still have the color coded first version for my car. Anxious to see if there is actually any difference. I noticed they aren`t offering a color code version tonight.
 
I`d say the results will look like cosmic v1 + high gloss topping. lol

I I have plenty of cosmic left, cant really say I will jump on this just yet.

I also have some points and GC, so if ACC decide to do a deal again.... lol (like high gloss) *hint hint* @vega@autopia

V2 won`t have a color-match option because the higher levels of silica and titania don`t allow for it. So, we`ll be keeping V1 on for color-matching. (Though there might be a solution for that coming mid-2017)

And yes, V2 has quite a bit more gloss and reflection, similar to topping V1 with High Gloss. As for topping V2 with High Gloss, well, make sure you have some powerful sunglasses for that. B)

Oh no, now you have done it! I`m still waiting for my Gloss to arrive. I think I will wait until Spring to get my maximum Gloss on.

Well thanks...now I have to decide if I want to use what I have and possibly polish it off in 6 or 7 months and see if a color code solution comes through. lol

Am I correct in assuming since my car is a metallic black the color coded product would get similar results on other Black Metallic paint?
 
Is it recommended to use Cosmic Spritz or Rapidwaxxx after Cosmic v2? the site references Rapidwaxxx.
Can High Gloss be used to top Cosmic V2?

Ah, I forgot to update that section. Cosmic Spritz can be used within 1-2 hours to shorten the hardening time to 12 hours. It can also be used to boost the hardness of Cosmic when used as a maintenance spray. High Gloss can also be used as a maintenance spray for Cosmic v2.
