New "Oxi-Clean Max" to sub-conciously target mobile detailers

Being mobile, you often lack the creature comforts of hot water availability. With Oxi-Clean and other carpet cleaning products, I find that the heated water acts as a catalyst with the cleaner to make it perform better.



In the past, I have gone to the extent of either asking the customer to use their sink or just mixing my Oxi solution up as soon as I got there and allowing it to sit in the sun to warm up, even just a little bit.



The new Oxi-Clean Max seems to solve these problems by claiming equal or better performance even in cold water. It may be worth a try so once I run out of my old stash, I will give it a whirl.

Interesting discovery. Keep us informed of your findings. I hope it works well because I need a good solution to mix as needed w/o hot water available. Thanks for the heads up.
 
mystickid: I have been unable to find it in stores yet, sorry. Once I do, Autopia will be first to know.
 
Just another suggestion since you're mobile -- when you get to the client's house, why not mix up your oxiclean, popping the hood on your car, and sitting it somewhere on/on top of the engine? That will certainly heat it up in a hurry..... and possibly to a higher temperature than the sun can provide. ;)
 
i use to use a bucket heater a few years ago and it worked great

just an electic heating element that clips to the side of a bucket and heats the water HOT

worked well for me at the time
 
Any update on Oxi-Clean Max as to how it worked and what dilutions people are using. Im going out today to pick up some Oxi-clean and would like to know which one to get. Thanks!

However, Oxi in a bug sprayer, let dwell for 10, then use the steamer, and you have a more effective solution :).
 
From what i remember every 18 degrees f doubles the chemical reactions taking place. That being said, that is a lab statistic. generated in a lab using chemical reactions. I would not count on your 200 degree water producing 500 times the cleaning power.



while carpet detergents, pre-conditioners-spotting chemicals all have some chemical reaction, it i s not the primary way the detergents lift the soil from the fiber.

Yes vastly. How much is hard to gauge as it really is different for each application.
 
They need to sell those chemical reaction powders that are put in MRE's. Add water and you instantly have hot water via chemical reactions.
