I am picking up my wifes new silver sub. outback wagon on friday. I am going to detail it on sat and am looking for suggestions. I planned on using PB pwc, EX(x2), and top it with VMC. Would something work better on silver??

I think your plan sounds fine. It is brand new and virtually any decent products will look good on the vehicle..

ernman- Yeah, I would DEFINITELY clay first. Both of my Subies had a LOT of ferrous deposits (rail dust), and when they turn to rust blooms it looks pretty bad on light colors. The WRX (silver) was the last new car I got before I started using AutoInt's "ABC" and even though I clayed it carefully, I missed a few specks of ferrous contaminants that turned to tiny rust spots. I *THINK* I've gotten rid of them, but I was :scared enough to order some ABC for the next new vehicles.
