it's like a little time capsule... approx 95% of CRX's here in Southern Ohio are rusted out rolling pods of turd.

That is amazing! How many miles on it? Does Toronto not use road salt or does this car never see snow?

Rob.- Hey, you've made it even nicer!! Oh man, you're just killing me...

Don't be such a stranger :wavey

You about to put it away for the winter?

Your car looks amazing! Definitely worth some cash too in that kind of shape! :thumb:

I've owned a '91 CRX Si along with several other 80's Honda's and those moldings sucked once they started cracking and looking weathered.

I really wanted the new CRZ to be like the last gen CRX, but they failed miserably! I like the styling enough but it should have had the 2.0L out of the Civic Si....I would have bought that car in a heartbeat! :)

I'm sure you could appreciate this '90 Prelude I did not to long ago.

Road salt galore in Ontario. All I know is that is the cleanest 1990 CRX I have seen since probably 1990!

Thanks for the comments.

It has 270,000 km and hasnt seen winter since 1992.

I have all records kept on Microsoft Word and receipts kept in folder since new.

The paint is almost all original except passenger front fender which was repainted in 1992.

The car is driven every day from April to November when it gets stored.

I have a 1988 civic LX sedan for winter duties with 68,000 miles. I picked it up december 2011 from Pittsburgh PA. The car is immaculate as well.

My garage queen is my 1991 civic si hatchback with 118,000 km. The car is like new ! :high5:

Anyways heres some pics of those cars and a few more of my crx. :)

Rob.- Thanks for sharing the '88 and '91 with us (can't believe I missed the thread on the latter!), gee...*all* your cars are in wonderful shape :xyxthumbs

That '88 was a great find, lucky you :D

Car looks great. I was hoping you had a secret for road salt.... other than keeping it in the garage :D

my 1st brand new car I bought was an '88 civic square back that was as 'base' as you could get. No a/c, no radio, no passenger mirror, no power door locks or windows. no 12v plug, not even a clock?! Some dude ran me off the road the 2nd year I owned it and totaled it. Funny thing that I miss the most from that car? The fact I could flip a switch on the drivers side vent where I could get 'fresh air' which I loved during the winter as my lovely wife likes the heat full blast the entire time she's in the car and still says she is freezing?! I pop the switch and I get cold air. It's the simple things in life, right?

I could talk for hours on your cars. If I ever make it back to Toronto, i'll ping you.

Haven't seen a Zapco amp in a looong time.

I had two Civic 4g's, an 89 and a 90. I totally forgot about that cool feature! Brings back memories. Now I want another one....
