New Mini full of road oil

My wife took her new Pepper White Mini down a road under construction. They were repaving the road and she said there was a sign saying fresh oil. She also told me that nothing got on the car. After washing today the car was covered in something black, I'm assuming oil of some kind. CG car wash soap had zero effect on removing. We basically rewashed the car with bug & tar remover and then washed with soap again. My question is this, 2 weeks ago I put 2 coats of CG Jetseal 109 on it and I'm wondering why it was so difficult to remove the oil? I would assume that a sealant that is 2 weeks old would do a better job of making the surface easier to clean. Am I right or wrong? Any ideas? Is the jetseal that I thought was so wonderful no good or am I expecting too much?

Oil is oil is oil is oil. Very harsh stuff. It probably ate right through the jetseal. I think you were expecting too much. Or the jetseal did it job and it locked the oil into the sealant.
