New MF Towels

I jut purchased a bunch of new MW towels from Poorboys. Should I wash these before I use them? Also, I have seen some MF Cleaner on various sites. Is this something I hould use of just throw them in the washer machine with some Tide or something else?

I don't think you have to wash them before you actually use them, you should be fine right out of the packaging...

I have used the cleaners specific to Mircofiber in order to clean them, I have found they do a good job, although I don't know yet if they offer something above and beyond that of normal type detergents.

I like a dedictated MF detergent and Have used them quite a bit these last few years. I guess that I cannot say that it will really make a difference.

The main reason I have used a MF towel detergent is to have it available for me to use since no one in my house touches any of my detailing supplies.

Whichever type you use should be fine.
 
I also tend to use them straight out of the bag, but waffle weave towels will work better after a few washings ... if towels get really grungy, then I add some APC into the wash to break down the wax or grease. :)
 
I too use them right out of the package. I give them a quick shake to bring them back to life and fluffy. Remember DO NOT use fabric softener (or anything with it in it) we don't want you to ruin the MF towels.
 
having been in many fabrics mills and sewing areas over the years, i wash all textiles and garments before using/wearing them.
 
I would wash them before hand if they will be used on the paint. I do not wash cheap mf's that I use to wipe door sills etc.
 
I always carefully inspect them and then wash them before using.
One time I found a hard piece of poly that was stuck to the fiber.
It looked and felt like melted plastic I used a nail clipper to cut it off and that towel became a wheel cleaning towel..
I would take the time to carefully inspect them before using.
Like Steve I make my own fabric cleaner I use liquid tide and add APC as need if needed.
