And Jason, that's exactly right, and exactly why I do not want to lower it
The extremely flexible sidewalls of the front tires alone make me scrape pulling in the driveway much more than I used to.....don't need any more of that, LOL!
Oh yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I don't know what the max pressure is on your specific front tires, but on my mustang I run 40-45psi. You are actually overloading those front tires, even though we have all been running them for years with no problem, you just have to be careful. The biggest mistake I've seen people make with those on street cars is taking turns too fast with not enough tire pressure in them, and the sidewalls collapsing and/or actually breaking the bead of the tire in the process, which results in an immediate flat right in the middle of a turn.......not good. This can be prevented by putting more air in the tire than 35 psi, and also by slowing down in the turns (obviously).
I don't remember what the max weight rating is on those little tires, but I remember it being less than what my car weighs, so I can't say this enough......be very careful.
I've also seen a lot of people add adjustable brake proportioning valves when running these tires because the fronts will lock up extremely easily, especially in the rain. By increasing the braking to the rear, it will keep the car straighter when braking and reduce front lockup.
