Ive been trying to come up with some new things to add to my business as well as my image lately, I came across one of Todds'(Esoteric) threads and really like what he did with his border. Ive also seen Todd Helme do something of this sort. Well I got bored today and this is what I came up with, any constructive criticism is welcomed.

I am still up in the air with the watermark, Im thinking it may be a little over the top..counting on you guys to help me out! ;)

I like the watermark- I would probably just make it a bit transparent so that it doesn't draw so much attention to itself. The border looks nice.

Looks classy! Good job. If it was me, I’d make the “Auto Detailing” part just a little larger so that it says right off the bat what you’re line of business is. Perhaps going with a “sans serif” typeface for that part would help improve legibility quite a bit without having to bump up the type too much. It’s hard to see in the pix but it seems to me that you have a “serif” typeface which are notorious for plugging up when printed small. It’s because of the thick and thin strokes of their design.

Looks great against a rich dark background such as this photo but what did you have in mind when you’re not using a photo as a background? Like on a business card for instance?

But most importantly, your visual identity communicates quality and professionalism.

What do you guys think about this one?

I made "Automotive Detailing" a bit more pronounced and instead of a white stripe i made it a very light grey.

I wouldn't alter it, it looks great. When I actually have time or am smart enough to hire some help I'll get back around to the advertising and company image. Can't wait to get back on the computer and come up with some new ideas.

IMO the inner border should be slightly thinner. Your watermark looks delicious! It's going to be a paint in the butt applying that watermark to all your older pics! I checked out your website...A very interesting yet effective use of a forum. Sorry to go off topic but I just saw the hackjob civic you restored and it turned out great.

Looks great Billy!

Oh, and I recently had somebody asking for a referral in the Tampa area and I sent them your way...

Haha, I know how you feel! Ive been a little slow lately, which is good an bad. Its obvious why its bad, but the good that comes from it is I am able to stop and take a look back at my business and find ways to improve it.

Yeah, Im still working on getting a real website built, I need one badly. That forum is great because its a very large local forum here in Tampa and the shop forums are free. Im prob one of the only few businesses on there that use it to its full potential. ;) thanks for the compliment!
