For those of you who have tried samples of the New Improved OCW..... what are you impressions? How is the New Improved version better than the old version? How would you use the New Improved OCW with Opti-seal?

I currently use mostly Optimum products ONR, Optimum Polish, Protectant Plus, and Opti-seal. I really like Opt-seal on my silver paint....but am interested in trying the New OCW when it is released.

Thanks!

i haven't used the old but I got a sample of the new and am gonna be very stingy with it till i can get a gallon. I hae a silver altima and 2 coats of OS with 2 coats of New OCW looks fantastic. I keep thinking when it dulls I will redo it but after 5 weeks and 8 washes, it still looks like I just put it on. I'm sold ... can you tell, lol

My very first impression when using it was that it is slicker right off the bat than the old formula. It also doesn't separate but I was still advised to give it a couple shakes before using it. The appearance is more carnauba looking in that it has decent depth. If I am using with Opti-Seal, I use it about 30-40 minutes after applying OS. I also use it in conjunction with Poli-Seal, the new OCW (and the old) are great for buffing off what little remains after applying OPS and laying down additional protection.

Oh yeah, I'm not giving out any samples until I can buy a gallon, so don't ask. :p

The new OCW is great and have used up my samples already.

The new Optimum QD is what blows me away.

A quart bottle will make a gallon and a gallon will make four!

Super slick as well. I use it with OS and cant believe the slickness and look!

All the Optimum products are receiving new labels so it is taking a little longer then normal.

Scott, how would you compare OCW (2) to CMW ?

It isn't as deep but it is slicker and easier to use. Real timesaver when I have cars in good condition. Buff with Poli-Seal, buff it off with OCW2.

I agree with Ron about the QD, feels like you are wiping on slickness.

I guess you could e-mail Optimum and see when it will be released. I believe they are waiting on labels.

That would make WAY to much sense Scott! :D I've been following the posts about it's release on their forum for a while now.

To OPT:

I could care less what the label looks like...can you guys just go ahead and ship me a gallon with no label? I was planning on using the OPT spray bottle (with the old label) that I already have anyway. I'm being stingy with the last remaining few ounces of OCW that I have left. I used to use it all the time.

Why would they improve a formula that lasts six months that I get three weeks durability out of?:nixweiss

I was going to give a nasty reply however this type of petty crap is what keeps me away from here!

Dude, look at your avatar, then re-read what you just posted, if I feel like making a true statement I am entitled to do so, when a product says it lasts six months and in two different climates only lasts one, I have the right to speak on it...Furley.

VA I think you need a little alone time with the Mrs. you seem a bit touchy. Dents it may only last 3weeks for him if he washes with dawn or something. And I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you don't like OCW then why do you read and post in the thread? Seems like you were just being an antagonist and the next post was a personal attack about Dents avatar. Do you needs a time out, lol. where the H%*& is tort?

3 weeks is pretty good for a spray wax, OCW lasts about 3-4 weeks for me as well. Its so easy to use and gives such a great look, I just reapply after everyother wash.
