the hardest part in cleaning the wheels is going to be behind the spokes will will take a very long time, because there are so many on these wheels and there is not enough room to work with

I'm not worried about getting behind the spokes every wash. Once in a while i'll put my car on stands, take the wheels of and give them a thorough cleaning.
Accumulator said:Eh, that doesn't work for me. No matter what I use on 'em (e.g., multiple layers of 845, 476S, KSG, UPP, BF) I have to use shampoo mix and some kind of mechanical agitation. Sometimes just rubbing with my rubber-gloved hands will do it, but I have to do something. Especially have to reach behind the spokes to get those inset areas- see the staining on the back of the spokes on holland_patrick's wheels where the previous owner let things get too bad to clean up 100% (holland_patrick- *please* don't take that as a slam, your wheels look great and I've suffered with the same problem on some of our wheels when I failed to keep them spotless from the git-go).
