New HRE wheels need a cleaning brush!!!

hey guys I just purchased some HRE Wheels and need to know what brush to get to clean these wheels that wont scratch the chrome lip and clean the wheels well.....any of you have suggestions??

Use a boar's hair brush, two buckets and regular car wash soap on my oz ultraleggeras. I also spend about 20-30 minutes on my wheels when i wash my car (Accumulator knows what i'm talking about).

Anyways, post up some pics of those wheels!!

heres a picture of the wheels, HRE 549R Brushed Face, Chrome Lip

Beautiful wheels. I have the HRE 540's and they are a PITA to keep clean and polished. If these wheels were on a daily driver or a car that I drove alot I would go insane. They do look incredible when cleaned and polished though :bigups

Here is a nice brush for getting into thise little spots fast and easy. Boars hair too.

Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Adam's Polishes - Brushes

If you mean the first one (described as an interior brush), pn A021, yeah, I use a similar BHB every time I do wheels. The regular Wheel BHB pn A019 is similar to another one that I use, but I always need the smaller, cylindrical BHB to do tight spots like the recesses for the lugs.

I had anodized HREs on the Mallett...yeah, the design was a PIA to keep clean, especially the back/inside areas.

They are on a daily driver but dont get driven too much everyday, just back and forth from work and home. I am going to go insane shortly, arent there any other brushes that will get inside the wheel? that have a long brush

just keep teh insides waxed with a good releasing wax like 845 and you'll almost be able to spray water in the insides and clean it perfect.

I have GFG Trento 5's, 3 piece wheels and I just use a mild car wash soap with a microfiber sponge. I don't use any brushes, just a soft microfiber sponge or towel and they work great. Then use a good wax or sealant to coat and protect the wheels.

yeah i have 3 piece simmons on my car all i have to do is spray them down if i keep up on the wax every month or two.

I use poorboys wheel sealent on mine....It really does the trick it also has some cleaners in it also. I've never had to use anythng harsh on my wheels just car soap.

Eh, that doesn't work for me. No matter what I use on 'em (e.g., multiple layers of 845, 476S, KSG, UPP, BF) I have to use shampoo mix and some kind of mechanical agitation. Sometimes just rubbing with my rubber-gloved hands will do it, but I have to do something. Especially have to reach behind the spokes to get those inset areas- see the staining on the back of the spokes on holland_patrick's wheels where the previous owner let things get too bad to clean up 100% (holland_patrick- *please* don't take that as a slam, your wheels look great and I've suffered with the same problem on some of our wheels when I failed to keep them spotless from the git-go).
