New here

So my friend got his car detailed and I decided I wanted to try to clean my car anywhere near that level so I hoped on the web and here I am. I have been reading here a week or two and have started to try some of the products listed here. I plan on placing an order soon for a few more things to try and some MF towels, I have the ones from Sams now, but more can't hurt. I would enjoy suggestions on your favorite towel, was going to order from a sponsor here.

Lots of good info hope to resurrect my paint after years of neglect and keep it looking nice. I am not really looking to make money on detailing but I am sure someone along the way will want me to wash a car or two, not the goal though. Just want to make sure I am doing everything right.

Thanks
Jared

Welcome from Sonoma County CA

There is a wealth of info here and a lot a people that are willing to help you.

Steve @ Poorboys World has great MF towels, wafle weave for dry the car after washing, plush for removing product and a glass towel should be a good start.

Welcome to DC, I second the notion that Poorboy's World carries the best towels. Do you have an electric polisher yet? How about some pictures of your ride?
