Several years ago I signed up for these forums, learned a little and basically forgot about it. I check in every now and again, but with all the new products I feel lost. I forget which products I used to use, but the line up was MUCH smaller than what is now offered. I am now looking to get back in here and learn what I can about systems and processes of paint detailing and correction.

I come from Kansas with all 4 SEASONS! It is hard to find a product that will last through a full winter. And at 100 degrees during the summer with 80-90% humidity on a regular basis I find I am not motivated to do as much as when I was younger! LOL! Any advise or help would be appreciated on how to overcome these set backs, especially the winter!

Jared, welcome back !

If you seek product recommendations, it's often best to share what you already own so folks can make suggestions that complement what's on your shelf ;)

There is good news and bad news! The good news is I have an empty shelf right now, the bad news is I have an empty shelf right now! I have a couple bottles of cheap Meguires stuff from Walmart, but I doubt they would be all that helpful. I will say this though, the last time I waxed the car I used a synthetic wax from meguires that was very easy on, easy off, and from a work stand point it was not bad at all doing it in the heat.

What do you guys think about Griots products for the new comer like me? I found a few of their products at the local Advance Auto.

As for products my money is on Polish Angel, so simple to use, brilliant results and extremely durable.

and of course, welcome aboard!
