I saw that AA is now selling a "wash and wax" detailer under the Ultra Shine name. (And it's "Fortified with REAL CARNAUBA WAX!")



Typical "use between washes, boost shine", yadda yadda. What made me go "Hmm..." though was that there is no mention of it on their website nor their forum. (Their forum really isn't busy, though, so the lack of mention there didn't surprise me.)

The only mention I've seen of it is in MSDS pdf's on the Clorox site.



Anybody try it? (Still too cold here for playing with this type of stuff.)

Why would you try it? AA started putting a QD out on walmart shelves. Despite the cool orange bottle, I've decided that there is a 95% chance it's not worth trying. Though I suppose if anything would look good it'd be a QD, cuz armor all is very good at making extremely glossy & reflective stuff.

the only AA products i like and use are the tire foam & tire gel (great product). fwiw.. their wash & wax soap is terrible, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
