Hello, I have bee reading posts for weeks and finally decided to jump in and join. Recently purchased a new truck and when I went to the cabinet in the garage, I found that I did not want any of my older stuff/supplies touching the new paint. So I started researching some new things to try. I have been a long time fan of Meguiars products but after reading in here about BlackFire Wet Diamond I decided to buy a new "system" of products to use on the new truck. I bought a a lot of new microfiber towels and got rid of the absorber and told everyone in the house not to use them unless they ask me first. I left some of the old cheap ones out as bait. Hid the rest.
While waiting for the new Blackfire supplies to arrive I wanted to protect my paint so I performed a wash, clay, meg's polish and finished with NXT Tech Wax 2.0. I was pleasantly surprised. I uploaded some of the pictures. (But I still want to see whiplash!)

I have not bought a DA yet but I might try one out soon. My arms are still sore from using the Meguiars three step system on my wife's daily driver. (It needed it. I neglected it too long and the new truck did not want to be parked next the filth.)
I enjoy reading everyone's opinions and have learned a lot since coming back into this subject matter. I am still learning some of the acronyms.
I do have an obsessive personality and I can't stand fingerprints on the outside of my doors.... Is it wrong when people make fun of me for carrying quick detailer and touching up in parking lots? I think they just don't get me but after reading some of the threads here I might fit in a little.
