Part of me says "it`s about time someone came out with an iBrid Nano competitor". Will be interesting to see if it`s just as expensive...my guess is yes.

It will probably be as expensive but it will most likely be much higher quality and much better at correction... 3mm throw and a 12 mm throw and rotary options make it a winner also 1,2 and 3 in pads work on it

DarkThrottle- Hey, thanks for posting about this! Ah, interesting...an iBrid is the one thing I`m still considering, and how I have another option to consider :D

For some reason that looks bigger though...wonder if it really is.

If definitely looks bigger but appears to have more power and larger throw option def going to be a winner if it’s all it says it is

I`ll wait and see how it works out...that "just a little bigger" might be an issue for some of the stuff I plan to do. And the longer I think on it the longer that $ stays in my pocket ;)

Well, that disappeared off the internet pretty fast...I guess that was an unauthorized release, even though the vid said the release date for the machine was yesterday.

Yeah there’s a whole post on it over on the AG forums Mike Phillips has one and from what I seen far as pictures it looks to be everything I would want in a small polisher...I wanted the ibrid to polish under spoilers but if it’s easy enough I can just remove it if not guess I’ll be buying an ibrid

I haven`t been over at AGO for a while. What I was talking about was I can no longer find that Renny Doyle video via Google (I don`t do Facebook) so I presume it was taken down.

Milwaukee and Griot`s would make a pretty good team if they built an iBird competitor off of the M12 line of batteries. Like seriously guys? THE BATTERY PLATFORM ALREADY EXISTS. It would not only get people to buy into the M12 line of tools, increasing sales for Milwaukee, it would draw people to Griot`s for car care. Win-Win. Then, they could partner again and build the BOSS platforms off of the M18 line. THE BATTERIES ALREADY EXIST.

Man oh man if Griots and Milwaukee teamed up I would definitely start to consider griots options and I know Griots gets rave reviews everywhere currently but as someone who details on the side at the price point I offer my services at professional equipment is a must.. Highest quality for maximum durability, longevity and reliability to get the job done every time. The warranty on the griots tools is amazing. But for so many ppl having to find out that the warranty is good is what bothers me 13 years and 2 Flex 3401 I’ve never been let down by either..Now with a 3401 and PE14 I’m looking to round out the line up of my Flex tool detail collection..But you’re 100% on to something there. Honestly you should pitch them that idea just Incase no one over there has thought of that at all...if they run with the idea you might be lucky enough to get a free version of every model

There’s a video of this in action on YouTube. The youtube channel is a detail shop called Majestic Solutions or something. If you search YouTube for “flex pxe80” it will come right up.

It it looks like a useful too.

The only one that "comes right up" for me by doing that is in German.

Man oh man if Griots and Milwaukee teamed up..

From your mouth to God`s ear! Man, that`d be great (love my Milwaukee M12 rotary tool).

.. 13 years and 2 Flex 3401 I’ve never been let down by either..

You must`ve gotten good ones (most people do, but not everybody) and you must not abuse them (lots of people cause the plate to hit the housing by applying the wrong kind of pressure). Nice to know they`ve worked so well for you. (Mine is a lot older, and it`s always been fine, but I don`t use it much.)

I gotta say after all the talk we have had so far I’m shocked you even said you love any model rotary lmao

FWIW, that Milwaukee is *SO* much better than any of my Dremels it`s just incredible.

And I thought you were talking about a rotary polisher--I have been thinking about a cordless Dremel since I`m still using a corded one from when Ford was President...I`m going to have to look into that Milwaukee since I have an M12 tool already. Of course I will miss my Dremel pedal speed control.

Setec Astronomy- Well, you can keep using the corded Dremel with that foot pedal same as I still sometimes use my Dumore :D

I went through *so mayn* cordless Dremels that I felt like a sucker; they just don`t last (and it`s not only their batteries). Bought one for my best friend and that one didn`t last either. Very disappointing that IME they`re simply junk.

Completely different story with the Milwaukee, I`m very satisfied with that and only use the corded Dremel when I`ve let the M12`s batteries run down. For jobs you can do with a little rotary tool, the Milwaukee is simply great. Ergonomic IMO too, despite being bigger than some (all?) of the Dremel ones.

Oh, and I bet that `70s-era (corded) Dremel is still going strong, they built `em better back then. Not like the Dumore, but hey...Dremel is basically consumer-grade.
