NEW EDGE 2K Pc adapters **TRADE IN**

This was posted on another sire and I thought that the Autopians should know about this also. I have traded mine in and I will say that the adapter has less virbartion to it because it's shorter and there is a pin in the back that WILL NOT COME OUT I feel this is the best system out there and I use the 6 inch pads on both my PC and Rotary.

This year we are very enthusiastic about our Edge2000 product line. We will be re-launching the system this month with all new and improved adapters and pads. I saw that on another forum and I sent mine back on Friday and received the new one on Tuesday. This was really outstanding of the Edge people to exhange these, no questions asked, even if there had been no problems.

Does this mean that most vendors, such as Huey Chemical, selling DA adapters at this time are most likely selling the older models? If I were to purchase an Edge2000 system at this time from Huey Chemical, would I have to be concerned about getting the older adapter, as I wouldn't know the difference between the "older" and the "new and improved" DA adapter?

Langman Out of respect for the the mods who don't like the posting of Biz addies I left it out.. Search is your freind just put in Edge 2k to google and your golden....



I'm not sure about the vendor question i think that you'll have to ask arron that himself... But I have traded my old on in so I know the new one has a pin in the back locking the threads in and in order for the pin to come out it has to go though the connecting point on the PC.. so there really is no chance of this thing working out..
 
Perhaps one of the mods can clarify? It would seem to me to be a public service to post the address where these adapters can be sent for exchange, or at least a link to where the address is? I don't think you have anything to gain from this Patrick, which would be the usual reason to not allow that, if you were going to profit from the commercial link.
 
PAC has the new adapters and I know that Aaron was shipping them out to all vendors as of last week, but it would be best to contact the vendor directly. When I ordered, I told Dwayne to hold my order til you receive the new adapter and I just got notification that's in and has been shipped. Hope that helps.
