New Detail Trailer

UPDATE.....
New Years Day update...

Racked my brain today on a design for my generator mount. I wanted to mount it ABOVE my pressure washer, to save a little room. Got it all mounted up.
Pressure washer still needs 2 more bolts.
Hose reel bolted down, but no hose on the reel....lol I am thinking of buying a new, longer hose......

Chris the trailer looks great.
Thanks

Picked up some metal tubing today to make exhaust pipes for the Generator and Pressure Washer. The pipes will run down through the floor, under the trailer.

Vinyl will also be added before the end of the week. I gave the go ahead to make it up. I will be sitting down woth the guy tomorrow to finish up a few small details and make a few minor changes....

Trailers really lookin sharp!! I especially like the door storage rack. :)

A few words of caution when fabbing your exhaust... small inexpensive motors (like those found in most low $$$ generators) really like to burn up their valves in the absence of their stock manifold pressure. There is also quite a lot of vibration and movement between the generator/motor assembly and frame (up to 1.5" inches unidirectionally thereby increasing proportionately). If you're not experienced in this area (exhaust fabrication) I'd highly recommend having it done by a professional.

Take it from experience, "Spending a little more now saves having to spend allot more later..." :)

The trailer is sweet. I like the way that you have everything organized.

I have all of my things stored in the basement until I save up the money to purchase a trailer. Home depot has some aluminum trailers that I have been looking at but after reading a few post maybe I should be looking for a steel trailer instead. The peg board on the wall was a great idea.

Make sure you keep the post coming. I'm learning allot from your posts and am coming up with a few ideas for my own trailer.

Thanks for sharing....

Vinyl Done!!!!

Got the vinyl put on today!
My wifes Uncle did it. Save me a couple hundred bucks too. SO I have to give him a big thumbs up.:bigups
I will be adding a couple more things to the back of the trailer in the next week or so...Just some simple things...

Enjoy....:yay

Man that thing is looking sweet. You making me jealous. I just got mine back from my friends body shop. It was painted the same color as my tacoma. I hope to get some stuff in it this weekend. I'm going to post some pictures of the new paint tomorrow.

Looks awesome Chris!! Now remove all that Route 66 junk and you'd be good to go. My parents got an aluminum motorcycle trailer that had the word Blizzard in yellow and a checkered flag on 3 sides of it... about 10 minutes and help from the heat of the sun and they had an all white trailer. It looked horrible before when the company name was there.

I am now opening a "Re-Stock Chris' Wallet" fund.......
LOL

The route 66 Decals are coming off......
And I will be adding a few things extra in vinyl down the road.
