Is that real carbon fiber or just an overlay?

Looks like an overlay....but a least its dry carbon. Looks great!

Thanks.......it's dry carbon fiber (12K cloth -- and thin), but it is an overlay. It's made by hand in Taiwan, but I was pleasantly suprised at the fitment.

Just curious, but if its dry carbon, why is it shiny? I always thought dry carbon fiber id dull?
