New Car . . .

After much searching, thinking, meditation, and prayer, I finally bought a new car last night. Yes, this is my first new car ever. I had initially been looking at BMW's, Volvo, and Audi's. After much thinking, and the realization that I would like a nice new house much more than a $30,000 to $40,000 car, I decided to get a VW. Don't get me wrong, I will have my quick and sporty German toy soon enough, but I really would like to get a house this year, so I decided that a car was not the best investment (at least for right now)



I could not be happier. I got a 2002 VW GTI 1.8T with all the whistles and bells. I was so pleased with the price, and with the car. Not only that, I am more excited that I have an entirely new car to begin detailing.



I plan on starting this weekend! I cannot wait! Thanks for all of your input!

The car is silver with black leather. I got all available options. I thought about getting the new VW 337, but I did not want to wait, and I knew that I would get a better deal with the cars that were on the lot.



It has a sun roof, Monsoon stereo, and the 17" rims (very nice). I also got the 6 disk changer and a ski rack for the winter. It is my first "new" car, and I could not be happier.



I plan on beginning the detailing this weekend, so I should have some pics by Monday.

Well, much has happened since that last post. VW gave me a lemon, so I actually got a new car yesterday. Yes, a brand new 2002.5 VW GTI VR6. I got all the whistles and bells on this one. Fantastic automobile.
