Me? I'd use a razor blade.

Well, actually I'd have my wife scream at the dealer.

Dwell time is important... rub the solvent in, allow it to sit at least 30 seconds, apply a little more, and rub hard on the glass.

Wouldn't a razor blade scratch the glass? You'd get that hazy look in a nice line straight down your window.

Same here. I'd use a razor blade. But be sure the window isn't tinted already. For some reason my local Ford dealer loves to tint all the windows on their cars before anyone ever even asks.

Spray the glue down with some glass cleaner and scrape at an angle with a razor blade. It should all wipe away without leaving any residue.

While I too use (new) razor blades for this, I'll repeat the warning from AutoInt that some of todays auto glasses are very soft and *will* scratch if you're not careful. No first-hand experience with it happening, but that's what they told me...

I had some nasty adhesive residue on the M3's windshield- 3M Adhesive Remover, with a little dwell time, took it right off. Handy stuff, that 3M product works better for me than GooGone/Dissolve-It.

Most of those stickers use water based glue. Soaked with water or maybe glass cleaner, rubbed with a cloth should take it off.

I think salty right on this. I tried all the usual solvents and had no luck, then I tried plain water and the adhesive simply disolved.

The dealership uses foam spray glass cleaner and a razor blade to take it off. I've seen it done many times.

Be more cautious if there is tint.

It came off with my brother's classic razor blade (one of those razor blade with soft two-sided razor). I soaked the glues with some Goo-Gone and use the soft razor blade to gently scrape it off. :D

Thanks for all the tips! much appreciated.
