new car..what do do? if anything?

I will be getting a new black 2003 MB C230K Coupe in the next few days (I hope, granted the truck delivery guy drives fast!). Anyway, my question is...should I do anything after I get the car? I've read many threads, downloaded the guide, and know basically what to do.



If the answer is do nothing, then how long (in miles, rochester ny) should I wait until I clay it and go through the guide step-by-step?

ps - I tryed searching, but maybe I just suck at it. I have found mostly "maintenance" threads, and nothing on what to do on a newly delivered car. Forgive me if there is a thread somewhere on this. :o

As said, try your best to get the dealer not to touch or wash it. Claying should be done before any polishing or other work is performed.



Maybe try a search for "dealer new car".
 
man i wish i new then (when i first purchased my car) what i know now!!!! things would have been very different. Have fun prepping your new car though. the right treatment from day 1 will keep your car looking better than new;)
