What you think is a "nice", "good" or "new" smell is in fact nothing but oxidizing or evaporating gases from the glues, sealants and various adhesives used to hold your interior together. It is called Volitile Organic Compunds (VOC's) and they can make many people sick with nasuea and headaches.
So what you are seeking to re-create is the smell of your rotting car interior.....literally :hurl
The fumes that these VOC's give off is what you see on the inside of your windows and can't figure out what it is . Kind of a white haze film that reminds me of smoking in the car ..
