New Car Question--Skip a Couple Steps OK?

darballman- Welcome to Autopia! There's a "Secret Decoder Ring" icon somewhere....find it and click it, it'll give you a list of commonly used acronyms and their meanings. Until then:

LSP= Last Step Product, i.e., "wax"

AIO= All In One, a product from Klasse that cleans paint and provides a little protection, i.e., one product that does it all (IMO it's not quite as "all in one" as the name implies ;) )

That just goes to show that it can be worthwhile to rehash stuff that might seem old-hat. Different people will have different opinions about what is/isn't a "Last Step" Product/Process depending on when *they* think things reach the good-enough point.

I figure that a LSP is a product that *could* be the final step (e.g., KSG which many would top with a carnauba) in the sense of providing a reasonable degree of durability; while a glaze might be the last thing applied to a fresh repaint or a showcar, *I* wouldn't consider that a true LSP.
