Hey fellas-
I took delivery of a brand new 2016 Fiesta ST last Thursday. Knowing my luck, I got stuck with black. Also, to make matters more interesting, my two toy cars are, you guessed it---black! Lucky me eh?
Well, on to the ST- I bought the car and got an amazing deal as it was one of the last two on the lot and being in the car business helps.
On to the pics.

Done and done
I had the dealer leave ALL seat plastics and stickers on it. No wash. No touch. Trim to the depot for some buckets and other odds.
Finally home.
Day two- went over to the local detailer supply store and bucket up some grit guards, A new wash mitt and some collinite.
The car sat on the lot for a while as it was evident based on its condition and how faded the stickers were.
I used some autoglym soap I had laying around. I`m not sure how I feel about it? Not a lot of suds especially when compared to the megs I used before. Smells great if you care for that?
I foam gunned the car- a pal of mine lent me his. Loved it. But damn does it use a lot of soap!
As the car was soaking, I sprayed some zep degreaser on the wheels.
Next up was the decontamination. Not fun. Absolutely hated the smell but apparently it works?
I followed up after with another wash this time with the two bucket system and the autoglym again. Here you can see the suds it produces.
Next up was the claying. I used a light non abrasive example. Let me tell ya. I was shocked at the amount of crap it picked up for a new car!
(Didn`t pick up clay lube but it works)
Next was a minor paint clean. I didn`t wish to go super ocd but it brought up the shine while removing some light scratches
Here was my drive to work this morning. Heavy rain and a drive thru construction. I was amazed how after the rain storm, the hood had practically nothing! This again is Collinite 845
Nothing!!!
A co-workers Lincoln just for comparison.
