New Camera

I am about due for a new digital camera. I think I have the very first Sony cybershot that came out. Do you guys have any suggestions for camera's? I would like to keep it under the 200$ range, and something that can be found at Best Buy.

Thanks in advance.

I recently got a sweet deal from Dell on a Canon A710 IS. I like it alot, however it MAY be just over your $200 cap if you plan on buying it locally.

I'm looking to get a new digi-cam for my wife and I was considering getting a Panasonic LZ7, which should fall within your budget.

A couple of the key things I kept looking for was; a quality lens, the ability to use AA batteries; relatively low price.

Either way, check some of the review sites:

Well, there are so many cameras out there that it's going to be hard to pick the "one", but you've actually narrowed down your search already without realizing it. You said that you would like to stay under $200, and purchase it from Best Buy, well that cuts out a lot of cameras that are over $200.

My suggestion is to just go to Best Buy and take a look at all the ones in your price range. I, personally, am a die hard Canon fan and just bought a SD750 because of it's small size and huge 3" LCD screen. It does everything I want it to do, and was recently on sale from Dell.com for $215. I paid $285 from WalMart.

I just picked up a Canon Cybershot A630 with a 7 piece add on kit on Ebay. The kit included a 2 gig sd card, mini tripod, lens cleaning kit, camera bag, 4 AA rechargeable batteries, SD card reader, and battery recharger. I paid $225 shipped.
