New Blackfire or New Platinum?

I am about to order Christmas presents for myself and some friends and was wondering which of the above sealants would you recommend? I will be using this with P21S/S100 as a topper for my black 740iL.

I have heard great things about both!! I have seen both on other cars and plan on using platinum over my AIO next. As an aside I have to say that you will be thinking hard about topping it with a carnauba (I currently use s100 and souveran as toppers over klasse) since these two have great wet looks and are extermely slick;) .

I was trying to see if I could put an even more shiny base on before I top it with P21S/S100 or possibly not even using the P21S/S100 topper at all. I actually just ordered one of the new Platinum kits from Premium Auto Care, some extra Platinum QD (1 Gal.), Some P21S wax and some microfiber towels as well.



Dwane @ Premium was very informative on the phone and answered all my questions. He was able to work a pretty good deal for me since I purchased quite a few things. I would definately recommend them.

One of my vehicles has had Platinum original version, original version revised, and now "New" Platinum. All three gave a really great look. The changes are supposed to increase durability. Since I usually wax every 4 to 6 weeks, durability was never an issue for me.

Another of my cars has AIO with S100 and also looks great. I am not sure, but I don't think you can tell which is which. I once tried S100 as a topper for the UPP, but really couldn't tell the difference, the UPP looked that good alone. I think it is a great product.

Hey AMP99! Platinum QD (1gal.) Is it professoinal line of product (red in color)?:wavey

On the Premium Auto Care web site they have a special, 8 16 oz. bottles of their Platinum QD for the price of 6. As I was talking to Dwane at Premium I asked him if I could just buy it by the gal. and could he give me a better price by purchasing the product in a plain 1 gal. container. He was able to work me out a deal, I think it was around $48. for the gal., but I was getting alot of other items at the same time. Give Dwane a call and see what he can do for you.
