New Black 350Z Paint Prep Help

I've got a 2 month old 350Z black with a few real minor spiderwebs...I have no PC...I'm lazy and hoping for products that are easy to use with no unneccesary steps...BUT I will accept nothing less than a rediculously nice paint-prep...I'll prob go Klasse AIO/SG/and maybe S100 over the prep.

So my question is what's the best paint prep for a 2 month old black finish?

I was going to use:
Dawn
Clay
Polish (of some sort)?
Maybe a final polish or glaze?
???

what do you folks think?

I was going to use:
Dawn
- No need, you shouldn't have any wax on there, maybe from the dealership, but prob not
Clay
- Definitely
Polish (of some sort)?
-You could go out and probably buy 2.0 Swirl Remover (#9) from Meguiars. Its pretty new so its VERY minimal.
Maybe a final polish or glaze?
- no need for a final polish, unless the swirls are made and you need an aggressive polish

AIO / SG / s100 is a good combo, but like you said you need prep

How you bought anything? you might want to stick on the boards for a week or two and decide after that. What are you looking for? How much? etc.

Hope I could help! :jump

Hey Lard

I'm not usre if its the car or the owners, but my buddy up in Northern CA just got a 350Z their track version, in peral type white. Anywho he is the same way wants protection but does not want to work at it. Here is what I told him that would be the best treatment.

I'd buy a decent car wash soap and drop the Dawn. Then when you decided to wash the car again you will have soap for it. Dawn will take off the wax.
Then use Poorboys polish with carnuba to get the car back in shape. It has some fillers so that will take care of the swirls. Then follow up with his sealant. Its not a whole lot of steps and should not wear you out...:lmfao

My buddys car turned out great:google
