It's Full HD but needs HDMI cabling to reach its potential. :D

You guys are killin me! Remember when " TURBO" was the buzz word?

Now its "High Def", I still going use my Turbo Wax.

I have used it several times on. On this thread I used it on the E-type and MG (kind of sticking with the British thing). Overall it is a nice wax, I found it hard to apply thin with the supplied applicators (these damp red sponge things), and slightly hard to remove (probably from the over application).

Has a very P21s 100% (high, sharp, deep shine) look to it. Not sure of the durablity.

TH0001- Heh heh, why am I not surprised that you have tried it out :chuckle: :xyxthumbs

Thinking that I will eventually need a new jar of LSP for my Jag if I ever get it out of mothballs (and that I'm awfully particular about just how I like it to look), I wonder if this oughta be on my short-list  I simply *love* using their SRP for the penultimate product on that car.

Any way you could compare it with the BF wax..what's it called...Midnight Sun maybe? IIRC, you had previously found that stuff to compare quite well to Souveran but I could be misremembering.

As long as it doesn't stain trim (I'll be using it *on* the Jag's trim), I want to give stuff like the Autoglym fair consideration before I spend my $. I'm after a "rich, high-jetting" look as opposed to a "bright, reflective" look, and yeah....on *that* car I'll notice those little 2% diffs that're usually just BS ;)

Any thoughts on this? :grinno:

With Pinnacle Souveran and Wolfgang Fuzion being so easy on and off, any really compelling reason to try this wax then?

In my case it's just an ongoing interest in Autoglym stuff. Must be the contrarian or the Anglophile in me :o You know...Autoglym on the single stage Jag is just sorta, well....something I'd do :nixweiss

A *LOGICAL*, objective reason to try it over Fusion/Souveran/etc. ? Well, maybe not, at least not for people in the US. But there's not a whole lotta logical, objective sense related to my Jag ownership :chuckle:

I would kind of lump (we are talking percents here) Sourveran and Blackfire in the dark, oil rich, liquid pool type of waxes.

I would compare High Definition Wax more along the lines of P21s. Two words I would use to describe it would be liquid clarity, if that makes sense. I might but some on this 1930 Bentley I have been working on (and try the fresh applicator to see if that helps) if I ever get done with it. However I'm 30 hours into it and no end in site, full wetsand (so many wierd pig tails, sanding marks, scuffs, touch-ups, crazy!!!) with 1500 up to 3000 :(

TH0001- Yeah, that comparison to P21S is *perfectly clear* to me :xyxthumbs [EDIT: Oops, no pun intended :chuckle: ]

FWIW, and I'm thinking of that Bentley too, P21S was *absolutely WRONG* (IMO) on my Jag. WAY too bright/reflective, simply not the right look for the paint, or the vehicle. *I* would feel the same way about it on the Bentley (cool Pullman green-type color!! Is the car a two-one or single hue?) and I can't help but wonder if RROC/BDC concours judges might might not feel the same way. Just food for thought, not that *you* need any advice from *me* :o

Sounds like the Midnight Sun (that's the BF stuff, right?) and Souveran are gonna be my current short-list. Thanks again for the *perfect* explanation, I appreciate how tricky it is to discuss such stuff, or even notice those subtle diffs in the first place.

Oh, lucky lucky you to be working on that Bentley! Much as I disclaim any enjoyment in this stuff, I *would* love to work on something like that. Have fun and post pics if you can. Is it still in ss or is it now b/c?

And I'll be really interested to hear which LSP you end up going with on it.
